How it works
The container and canvas are marked with corresponding numbers.
Paint the container number (14) to the corresponding number (14) on the canvas.
Apply all the paint with the corresponding numbers on the canvas until complete
Once all the paint is applied, your painting will be complete.
- Choose a comfortable chair and surroundings, with plenty of space and light.
- A small container of water and a cloth is required to wash and dry paints between colours.
- Make sure your paintbrush is dry before dipping it into the paint pots.
- Start with the smallest areas, then work your way up to medium then large.
- Paint the whole of one colour first, don’t stop and start.
- Be sure to let the paint dry between colours to avoid any smudging
- There should be no gaps between colours.
- Take a picture of your blank canvas, it helps with small areas that can be painted over by mistake.

Overall very good. There are a few areas not numbered - in particular one relatively large area that has me scratching my head.
Reasonable for the price
This pattern is quite complex and probably not suitable for beginners or those with low levels of patience. I’m quite satisfied with the result, although it took ages! However, it’s clear that the promotional image and the kit pattern are not the same. I had the same issues as some of the comments below. The paper pattern supplied was far too small to be useful, and there were numbers missing or misprints on the canvas. The paint consistency varied: a couple were very thick and had a terrible smell. If you want the black outline and numbers to be invisible on your painting it’ll take 3-4 coats particularly for the light pinks, peaches and yellows. And for this pattern only the finest tipped brush in the kit was viable. I got some cheap brushes from Kmart to finish the job. I still give this 3/5 because ultimately paying around $50 for months of entertainment, a creative outlet, and a sense of accomplishment painting when I’ve never done that before felt worth it to me. Fixing a few quality issues would improve the experience though.
Wish had note I. There not for new painters or not for beginners, as this one has a lot of tiny dots
Loved the end result but it was very time consuming as some of the paints are very thin so I had to go over them numerous times and then some paints were very thick which made it hard to do the smaller areas. Some areas didn’t have a number in them so I just put a colour that I thought looked good. Worth it if you have time and patience.
lots of busywork for no reason
It took quite a long time to complete this, I started it and then I stopped because there was just a lot of inappropriate cells, most of the cells are unnecessary, it's almost like its busy work for no reason, most of the cells should be larger to make the painting flow better and be less tedious. I did eventually finish it after literally months of work when I had the time. I'm definitely put off buying something with this magnitude of work again
